When you support The Lab, you are supporting hundreds of artists across dozens of events annually. We believe that when artists are given the time, resources, and freedom they can create work that challenges us — up to and including the way we operate.

The Lab SF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 94-2952488) and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Donate by Stock

The Lab’s Gift Acceptance Policy allows for accepting donations of marketable securities (e.g., publicly traded companies) in the form of brokerage transfers or physical stock certificates. The Lab’s policy is to sell incoming securities immediately, unless otherwise directed by the Board of Directors.

Please notify Executive Director Andrew Smith at andrew@thelab.org before making any transfer of stock or securities, and please note the number and symbols of any securities transferred so that they can be properly attributed in your recognition letter and gift receipt.
